The adventure began in July 2008.
We were captivated by the magic of the place, wild and wonderful.
Nature, space, silence, fruit trees... everything is there.
The village is a bit further away, but not too far, and we received such a warm welcome there!
With the help of some friends, the bare necessities of life were put into place in the months that followed: the installation of a greenhouse, which will serve as a workshop / storage space; the setting up of a yurt and various other facilities and the organization of the space.
We acquired a small house in Maella in September. After some work , the library and office were operational in October.
The most important work of this winter on the land has been the planting and sowing of about 400 trees, both fruit and forestry, and mulching.
There was also the removing of the dead wood from the trees, and an early vegetable garden. And then lots of small jobs ...
May 2009: A second yurt, 2 compost toilets, and a shower are installed... The living space is organized.
Fall 2009: The garden has grown, other trees are planted and the first basin is completed. Birds and dragonflies will greatly appreciate this ... and so will we. 4 solar panels feed electricity into the yurt. Luxury awaits us.
And then there was the roof renovation of the old house in Maella: 30m2 roof completely renovated and insulated earth and straw. It was fun.

2010 : the project is going on... a workshop for the tools, a cellar for the vegetables, a "crudina" (raw kitchen), shady places...
More and more people coming, good energies, end the vegetable garden is already producing 80% of the food !

I sometimes say "I" and sometimes "we".
"I" because I am for the moment the only permanent person here, and the only one to manage the development of the project.
"We" because this project is essentially collective, even if the collective is still in formation. And you're part of this "we."
