How things happen at "Flores de Vida"
Végan food is mainly organic and mostly raw (fruits, vegetables, sprouted seeds ...)
We try to feed ourselves mainly out of the resources of the land, therefore there are more abundant periods than others, depending on the season, but also the number of person living on the place.
Tobacco, alcohol, coffee, and
various drugs are useless here : there is the sun, trees, nature ...
I propose to experiment: "just a hot drink in the morning" (cleansing and awakening of the body), and fruit a little later, when the body is awake.
This will encourage the body, by listening to its needs, to learn to feed at its own pace (see page
Hygienism). Therefore a "kitchen" area is available to everyone, which everyone is invited to use independently, when and as he feels the need. There are thus no formal meals. Maybe our needs will coincide, and we will eat together, maybe not.
We will have, however, other opportunities to share in a session of yoga, taichi, songs, dance, meditation...

Simple food and simple comfort. This is both because the project is in its very beginning - equipment is put in place gradually: there is no running water, for example - and because it is a choice to live simply. Thus there are no tables or chairs in Flores de Vida ... in this way we are closer to the earth.
Accommodation is in tents (which may be provided, but if you have your own it’s good).
Dogs pose too many management problems (barking, aggression, pee everywhere, droppings ...) for us to be able to accommodate them.
Cats, being major predators of lizards, birds and squirrels, are not welcome here.
So thank you for coming without them, and thank you for your understanding.

In Summer it is (very) hot, and it is better to begin being active in the freshness of the morning. The activities begin at 7:00 am or earlier for those who want to do yoga.
In winter it is rather a continuous day (with breaks) of 10h to 16h, to take maximum advantage of the sun.
